Clayability - Pottery Party / Parties for Children and Adults

We offer pottery parties for children aged 7+ and adults - a unique way of celebrating that special occasion (Birthdays, Hen Parties)

Children's Option 1 - £12 per person
At this party everyone makes two items: a tile / picture frame and an animal.
During this party option everyone makes a tile (bedroom names, picture or mirror frames) and then to finish you'll by making an animal. (1 to 1.30 hours)

Children's Option 2 - £16.50 per person
At this party everyone makes three items: have a go on the potters wheel, a tile / picture frame and an animal (2 hours)

Adult Option 1 - £22 per person
At this party everyone makes four items: have a go on the potters wheel, a face, a tile / picture frame and an animal (3 hours)

During the following party option -
Children's Option 2, and Adult Option 1
The party starts with a demonstration by Bill on the potter's wheel.
Then during the party everyone has a go on the potter's wheel (you're guaranteed to make a lovely pot) and you'll also make a tile (bedroom names, house numbers, picture or mirror frames) and depending on which party option have great fun sculpting a gargoyle or face out of clay. Then to finish the party we'll make an animal.

The parties run between 1.5 to 3 hours approximately, depending on which option you choose, and can start from in the morning 10.30am or the afternoon from 2pm but we are very flexible. The parties can run weekdays and Saturdays and Sundays, it just depends on availability.

The birthday girl or boy, or hen, if having a go on the potters wheel(Option 2 and Adult Option) will also get a free extra go on the wheel, usually near the end of the session.

We take a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 people. Large groups are possible and please phone to discuss the options.

After the party, the pottery made is left at the studio and are fired and glazed with the name and date of the session written beneath. Then collected 3 to 4 weeks after the party.

Please download a booking form and return it together with £30 deposit.
(balance to be paid on the day of the party).
