Corporate - Team Building

Clayability has its studios at The Walled Garden in Wrington and is surrounded with beautiful countryside with stunning views of the Mendip hills. It is an ideal venue for relexing and building relationships within your group or team.

We are very experienced in holding corporate events and team building pottery sessions, also offering day pottery taster courses and have worked with many companies and businesses; John Lewis, Lloyds TSB, Microsoft, Price Waterhouse, Bevan's Solicitors, Environmental Agency.

During some events groups can work together making one item such as large tile project / mural. One recent session was a plate decorated with self-portraits and given as a leaving present.

Clayability can also be mobile and come to you to hold an event at your workplace. Recently we worked for John Lewis at their head office in central London to celebrate 150 years of their pottery society. Another event in a hotel was for Microsoft and their European managers, when they released Vista.

If you would like Clayability to run a pottery event for you than please do contact us for ideas and costing. The options below are excellent team building sessions and are very popular.

Basic Team Building Session - £20 per person
The popular team-building event and basic package run over approximately 3 hours. The session starts with a demonstration on the potter's wheel. Everyone has a go on the potter's wheel, you're guaranteed to make a lovely pot. The group will also make a tile (bedroom names, house numbers, picture or mirror frames) and have great fun sculpting a face or self-portrait out of clay. Then to finish everyone will make an animal. So that means everyone will make 4 masterpieces!

Everything made is fired and glazed in the kiln, and can be collected 3 to 4 weeks from the Wrington Studio. Delivery to your work place may cost extra if not local to Bristol

Paint Your Own Office Mug - £12 per person
Paint your own office mug is a bit of fun where your team or office can come to the Studio in Wrington and paint a handmade mug. Personalise a mug with your name or patterns using ceramic paints, and then the mugs are glazed and can be collect 2 weeks later.

The Walled Garden Cafe
The Walled Garden also has a highly recommended café and restaurant which is an idea place to have lunch before or after a pottery event.
